Idea for ROI:
Looking at the AIDS Quilt site, I noticed that they stated the mission "To use the AIDS quilt to bring an end to AIDS." This sounds a lot more compelling than "To use the AIDS quilt to give people a forum for communicating and grieving."

Their goals -- in service of the compelling mission -- are then listed and include things like "creative means for rememberance," "raising funds for organizations," etc. I think we should adopt a similar structure. Compelling mission, and goals in service of that mission. Some of those goals should contribute very tangibly to ROI.

My shot at this:
Mission - To enable people around the world to mobilize for issues of concern to them.

Goals
- Provide a creative, accessible, and compelling means of communicating across languages.
- Facilitate cause based fund-raising.
- Enable grassroots agenda-setting.

Thoughts?

Hey all. Just for an idea of what a business plan might address, check out this one from a social e-ship seminar last spring. The Feb. 12th deadline only requires a one page executive summary, after which point they'll pick 12 teams to advance.

Idea for where we could get money and resources for this project...Bases social entrepreneurship competition! Deadline for a one page proposal is in february. I'm actually working on another proposal with some peepz but I think I can be on more than one. If not, then you enter and I'll just help. ;)
